Why the name? I can make any short story long, but here’s the gist of it. One of my best friends was in dire straits, and I thought I’d go with the crappiest idea I could to help him out. And so an imagined berry farm near the town of Dingle became Dingleberry Farm. Our first course – of course – is building an outhouse. When it comes to humor, there’s butt one rule: The worse it is, the better it is.

Agroforestry
Agroforestry is managing land to co-grow trees with pasture and crops, the way nature works and farms used to be run.
Examples of such systems are alley cropping, silvopasture, food forest gardens, forest gardens and riparian buffer zones / shelter belts.

Regenerative Agriculture
This is a process used to rehabilitate the soil, water, biodiversity and ecosystems to reverse degradation from industrial agricultural practices.
I’ve often said that the only two things I grow are soil and community – everything else is a positive byproduct.

What’s common for the courses we have is that they’re here to help you prepare for an uncertain future.
We need to be more resilient, and relearn how to grow, build and communicate in sustainable ways.
See our course page for a list of current courses!
What’s this about a fundraiser?
We’re intending to buy seven hectares (17 acres) of Scrappy Joe’s Farm near Dingle, Sweden.
